Frederick "Fred" Wayne Florea, 44, of Palmyra, MO, passed away Saturday, May 4, 2019 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Illinois.
Funeral Services will be at 10:00 AM Thursday, May 9,2019 at Lewis Brothers Funeral Chapel in Palmyra, MO.
Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday May 8, 2019

Fred was born November 14, 1974, in Quincy, Illinois to Lester Wayne Florea and Linda Darlene Vick Florea.

Survivors include Brother, Chad Chamberlain, Palmyra, MO; Sisters, Andrea Hawkins (Kellie), Palmyra, MO, Dorothy Claus, Shelbyville, Mo, Leslie Florea (Roger Lyon), Palmyra, MO, Stella Irwin, Hannibal, MO, Elizabeth Florea (Shane Brixby), Mexico, MO; Nieces and Nephews, Garrett Wassell (Kylee), Kelcee Pyse, Katie Wassell, Sawyer Baker (Taylor), Markus Hawkins, Dillard Hawkins, Jerzee Hawkins, Bretni Snow, Linda Utterback (Brandon), Johnathan Claus (Sabrina), Lexy Claus, Kayla Florea, Josh Lyon (Allaina), Michael Lyon, Abigail Lyon, Alexzandria Walotka, Hayliee Brixby, Hayden Brixby; Great- nieces and nephews, BrayDyn Wassell, BrayCyn Wassell, Zoee Bock, Zentlee Sparks, Brookelynn Baker, Bradley Utterback, Calvin Utterback, Hunter Utterback, Alania Utterback, Leo Claus, Marley Claus, Amelia Claus, Tyler Payne and Gavin Snodgrass. Special friends, Diane Snow, Laura Sullivan, Megan Sullivan, Brooke Sullivan, and Myles Sullivan and Little Riley.
Fred is preceded in death by parents, Linda and Gene Irwin and Lester and Marie Florea, maternal grandparents Dorothy Vick and Fred Vick.
Fred was a high school graduate who, professionally, has been working as a general laborer for Doyle Manufacturing for the past 10 years.
Fred was an avid K.C. Chiefs and Chicago Cubs fan, taking every opportunity to watch the games. Fred enjoyed the simple life and never needed anything over the top. Spending time river fishing was a favorite past time, not liking the taste of fish he was known as a "catch and release" guy, taking pleasure in the peace and quiet of the outdoors.
He loved to joke around and had a sarcastic wit. Spending time with his many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews was a highlight in his life.

Pallbearers will be Josh Mitchell, Dave Smith, John Black, Chad Manton, Aaron Cunningham, Adam Jenkins, Jake Drebes, and Chris Rager.
Honorary pallbearers will be all his nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and all Doyle Manufacturing employees and staff.
