Gladys C. Varni, 79, Of Hannibal, Missouri, Died At 4:50 A. M. Saturday At Willow Care Center. Gladys Was Born March 23, 1927 At Palmyra, Missouri To Benjamin G. And Bessie G. Endlehardt Sublette. Survivors Include Sons: Dr. Jamie Garrett Goldsworthy, ( Ret. Col) Of Woodbridge, Va.; Tony Varni Of Clovis, Ca.; Daughter, Carol Ann Varni Of Hannibal; Sister, Armilda Stephens Of Dalhart, Tx.; Brother, Fred Sublette Of Hannibal; Grandchildren: Jessica Lynn, Rebecca Ann, Benjamin James, Bethany Leigh, & Sarah Beth Goldsworthy Varni , Anthony James, Macy, Janessa & Paige Varni, Nieces And Nephews, Friend, Carolyn Terry Of Hannibal. She Was Preceded In Death By A Daughter, Lenore Gayle Dalney, Two Sisters, Anna Marie Lewis And Helen L. Ralston. Gladys Had Worked In Food Service And Healthcare. She Had Worked At Maple Lawn Nursing Home In Palmyra For Several Years. She Was Also A Homemaker And Loving Mother. She Had Attended Palmyra High School. She Had Lived In Modesto, Ca. For Several Years. She Was A Member Of The Assembly Of God Church. Funeral Services Will Be Held At 11:00 A. M. Tuesday At The Assembly Of God Church In Palmyra. Rev. Mike Rickman And Rev. Gerald Begley Will Officiate. Burial Will Be At The Greenwood Cemetery In Palmyra, Missouri. Visitation Will Be From 10:00 A. M. Until Time Of Services Tuesday At The Assembly Of God Church In Palmyra. Memorial Contributions May Be Made To Feed The Children Fund . Arrangements By Lewis Brothers Funeral Chapel In Palmyra.
